Five Rosie Awards Are Coming Home to the Shenandoah Valley
Health Rosetta presented 88 Rosie Awards at RosettaFest 2026. Five went to organizations connected to the Employers Health Risk Consortium right here in the Shenandoah Valley.
LD&B Insurance and Financial Services and the Employers Health Risk Consortium (EHRC) were named 2026 Rosie Award winners during the July 29–31 event at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville. Three participating employers—Partners Excavating Company, Railside Enterprises, Inc., and Skyline Roofing, a Tecta America Company, LLC—also earned awards.
That is a strong showing for local organizations working together to improve cost, quality, and transparency in employer-sponsored healthcare.
Five Awards, One Regional Story
Each award recognizes a different organization, but the five honors tell one connected story. LD&B Insurance and Financial Services helps guide the strategy and stewardship, the Employers Health Risk Consortium gives local employers a structure for collaboration, and Partners Excavating Company, Railside Enterprises, Inc., and Skyline Roofing, a Tecta America Company, LLC put that model into practice for their teams.
What the Rosie Awards Measure
Health Rosetta's ecosystem includes more than 10,000 employer and public-sector health plans. In 2026, more than 2,000 plans were evaluated, 182 advanced to the finalist round, and 88 were ultimately named Rosie Award winners.
The review looks at how a plan performs, where savings go, and whether other employers can learn from the work. Winners must score highly on the independent Plan Grader™, demonstrate that Health Rosetta Dividend savings were reinvested in their workforce or community, and willingly share lessons that can help other employers.
A Rosie Award recognizes measurable plan performance, responsible reinvestment, and leadership that others can put to use.
Why This Matters for Local Employers
For employees and their families, a well-designed health plan can mean better access to care, clearer choices, and more value from every benefits dollar. For employers, it can provide greater insight into plan performance while strengthening recruitment and retention.
The Employers Health Risk Consortium Community Owned Health Plan brings local businesses together to own their plan rather than simply rent one from a national carrier. Participating employers have fiduciary governance, direct provider relationships, a clearer view of where healthcare dollars go, and opportunities to share lessons instead of solving the same challenges alone.
Building on National Recognition
The Shenandoah Valley's work also drew national attention at RosettaFest 2025 in Denver. The Employers Health Risk Consortium was named a Top 5 Community-Owned Health Plan, the health plan of LD&B Insurance and Financial Services made the Top 5 Walk the Talk list, and The Frazier Quarry, Inc., Blauch Brothers, Inc., and Dynamic Aviation Group, Inc. earned honors in their respective employer categories. The 2026 awards continue that momentum.
Local Partnership, National Recognition
John Woodworth of LD&B Insurance and Financial Services works closely with the Employers Health Risk Consortium to help design and steward its community-owned health plan around the needs of local employers and employees. That hands-on partnership helped bring the model to a national stage, showing what regional employers can accomplish when they collaborate, measure results, and take greater responsibility for the plans they offer.
From the Shenandoah Valley to Nashville
John Woodworth and Troy Suter represented LD&B Insurance and Financial Services and the Employers Health Risk Consortium throughout the three-day RosettaFest 2026 event in Nashville. They joined employers, benefits advisors, clinicians, and healthcare leaders from across the country to share ideas, learn from other high-performing plans, and celebrate this year's award recipients.
The week ended at the Rosie Awards party at Foundry Fieldhouse, where LD&B Insurance and Financial Services, the Employers Health Risk Consortium, Partners Excavating Company, Railside Enterprises, Inc., and Skyline Roofing, a Tecta America Company, LLC were recognized.
Five awards are now coming home to the Shenandoah Valley. More importantly, so are new ideas, new relationships, and another reminder that local employers can make a national impact when they work together.
