2025 Giving Spotlight: A Year of Caring and Community Impact
As the year comes to a close, we at LD&B Insurance and Financial Services are taking time to reflect on one of the things that matters most to us: giving back to the communities we call home.In 2025, our team came together once again to live out the spirit of LD&B Cares, dedicating time, energy, and resources to organizations making a real difference throughout the Shenandoah Valley and beyond.
Hands-On Giving: Volunteering and Drives
This year, LD&B budgeted and shared $300,000 with dozens of local nonprofit organizations, supporting the work of 24 LD&B Cares partners. These groups serve a wide range of community needs, from animal shelters and food banks to police departments, SPCA chapters, homeless shelters, and more.Our commitment to service extends well beyond financial support. Every LD&B employee is encouraged to take eight paid hours each year to volunteer for a cause close to their heart, and our team made the most of that opportunity in 2025. Together, we organized a School Supply Drive to make sure local students started the year prepared for success and a Food Drive to fill the shelves of community food banks and support families in need. We also took part in United Way’s Day of Action, joining volunteers across the region to complete meaningful community projects in a single, powerful day of service.

What truly drives our giving efforts is our belief that a caring community starts with caring individuals. Through our LD&B Cares program, we’re proud to empower our employees to give where they live, to champion causes that reflect their passions and strengthen the fabric of our region. From helping animals find forever homes to filling food pantries, our collective impact is the result of many small acts of service and generosity coming together to create lasting change.
